  • Invoicing for bill ready customers: We helped ESCOs to realize how we should create invoices for bill ready customers and most importantly when invoice sent {810 transaction file} get rejected by Utility what steps should we take to prevent this in future. Our EDi solution check end to end EDi transaction file for each invoice sent to Utilities and make sure invoice get accepted by Utilities.
  • Invoicing for rate ready customers: An ESCO does not generate invoices for rate ready customers so if we maintain rate and tax correctly, we can boost our revenue. escoADVISOR has in-depth knowledge of 814’s rate and tax transactions and incoming 810 invoice transaction file for rate ready customers and do complete analysis to make sure we are charging correct rate, tax for each and every account. Hint: 810 Invoice transaction file provide enough information to determine if we are charging correct rate and tax for an account.
  • AR aging process: Our intelligent APIs {Application programming Interface} list accounts where we did not get paid within configurable time frame for bill ready, rate ready, DUAL and Marketer Bill ready customer and provide alert to the operation team. Our EDI experts compare the 820 transaction payment files with 810 invoice charges to make sure we have correct payment across every meter reading received from utility. The escoADVISOR has EDi expertise to categorize the data if the AR aging payment error is because of transactions error from Utility or invoice never sent to utility for bill ready customers.
  • Meter readings not billed for bill ready customers: Our intelligent APIs {Application Programming Interface} can interface with your existing EDi vendor and display accounts where meter readings not billed correctly because we are not reading correct reading type code from the 867 meter readings transaction file. We saw issue where we are billing customers with different tab like “BB, PM” from raw EDi instead of correct tag i.e. Summary tag. This is very critical for bill ready customers.
  • Invoice analysis for rate ready customers: We helped ESCOs by analyzing discrepancies in inbound 810 files and compare with 867 meter reading service periods invoice amount to find the discrepancy in rate and tax for an account. This makes sure we are charging correct rate and calculating correct tax for the account across every rate ready utility. After analyzing the error we do submit correct 814 rate and tax change request and make sure it gets accepted at utility level to take in effect.
  • Invoice rejection for bill ready customers: We helped ESCOs to find out invoice rejection transaction errors before sending an invoice to Utility and resolve it on the fly. After getting an 824 application advice rejection, our intelligent APIs analyze the accounts for that utility to make sure the same issue is not happening with other customers.
  • Automated accounts SYNC between current EDi providers vs. utility accounts: Our intelligent APIs can sync current accounts with Utility accounts at any given point of time. We provide a dashboard to look the accounts and you can drill down to account level information.
  • Budget billing customer analysis: Our EDi experts help ESCOs to find out error in budget billing analysis. Also, we do check transaction error during true up so that an ESCO is not losing money by just assigning the customer as budget bill instead of regular bill.
